Pride 2023 Entertainment Schedule

This year Swindon & Wiltshire Pride is showcasing a diverse line up of live acts including local talent and nationally known artists as we celebrate our 15th year!

Spotlight Swindon

Opening the event will be the fantastic Spotlight Choir. Forming in 2017 the talented group feature members aged 18-50 and are dedicated to creating a safe and inspiring place for talented singers and dancers who have additional needs.

The sensational singing twin duo return to the Pride stage ahead of the launch of brand new album. The duo have appeared on BBC's  Little Mix The Search where they stunned the band with their powerful vocals and harmonies. Expect a packed performance  songs from some of the most famous Divas in music!

Jade Young's Celebration of Shania Twain (She/Her)

2023 saw the huge comeback of Country Pop icon Shania Twain and who better to showcase her music than Wiltshire's very own country diva Jade Young! From her voice to Shania's iconic outfits, Jade's performances are a fabulous tribute to one of the best selling female artists of all time

Miss Jam Tart (She/Her)

The peoples champion! The fabulous and proud West Country Queen is a host, live singer, and fierce fundraiser, never forgetting her roots as a Keyworker. She was voted the 27th coolest person in Bristol (well....there are nearly half a million people in Bristol so she'll take that!). 

Don One (They/Them)

Don One is a multi-talented drag king who sings, raps, acts, hosts, does comedy, and spoken word. They are now being called Don One 'off the telly' after their regular TV appearance as the live voiceover artist introducing Joe Lycett on Channel 4's Late Night Lycett!

 

Bellatrix (They/Them)

The award winning artist Bellatrix has been a fierce trailblazer and an advocate for those who are unrepresented in their communities. Starting out as the first female professional beatboxer in the UK Bellatrix- who identifies as non binary - is a songwriter, loop pedal artist and multi-instrumentalist

Lawn Manor Academy Dance Group 

As well as being chosen to perform at Disneyland this year, Lawn Manor Dance Group won a UK Dance competition in 2022 against 150 schools across the UK!  A fantastic achievement for our local students and they will be bringing their colorful routines to the Pride stage! 

 

Nicki French (She/Her)

Nicki smashed into the top of the charts with her dance version of 'Total Eclipse of the Heart' and in the millennium year represented the UK at Eurovision! She even won the Eurovision edition of The Weakest Link against fellow Eurovision legends Sonia and Katrina Leskanich. Get ready for plenty of singalong fun! 

Tia Kofi (They/Them)

Drag Star Tia Kofi burst into the mainstream in Season 2 of  Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK Season 2 as one of the fan favourites and bringing us some iconic confessionals! This year she has released her EP ‘Prode, Power, Pop’ and in this historic year of Eurovision she has also covered the legendary Eurovisio winner ‘Satellite’. Get ready to see her perform LIVE at Swindon & Wiltshire Pride!

Scooch 

Scooch represented the UK with the iconic anthem 'Flying The Flag' at Eurovision 2007. The song went on to be the highest charting UK Eurovision entry since Katrina and the Waves and they have had four other singles in the UK Top 40. Get ready to Fly the Pride Flags with Scooch!
